Mt. Shasta was sacred to the Wintun Indians, and it has provided inspiration to generations of artists, poets and writers. John Muir, the poet and naturalist, called it, “Lonely as God and White as a Winter Moon”. The Creekside Home lies within the energy vortex of this sacred mountain, cuddled within the turns of a babbling brook. It is one of the few places in the world that has such unique features. Spend just one night inside the home and you’ll wonder why you’re sleeping well, and waking up refreshed. It’s because creeks produce delta waves, which countless sleep tapes attempt to reproduce, but only nature, you will find, can supply the real thing. Visit it and you’ll find why the Creekside Home has been a destination spot for diverse groups such as skiers, writers and meditation groups. It was the setting for writing the book, Ecstasy and the Art of Healing, which was written on the deck of the home, surrounded by sounds of the creek.
